This place was busy. I Walked in and saw people waiting for tables. Went to the bar and found a seat. I needed to try a lobster roll and it did not disappoint. The roll came overstuffed with succulent pieces of lobster. They also have an unlimited salad bar that's popular. This place was busy with locals and tourist alike. Definitely worth checking out.

Got the turkey club. Food was delicious. Surprisingly busy for when we went during the week, but the place is decent size s d we had no trouble getting a table. The waitress was friendly. There's a lot going on with the wall decor, but it's interesting to look at everything. The bathrooms were clean as advertised.

Nice menu with something for everyone. Got the spinach and artichoke dip. Came with bacon and shaved parmesan on top. Definitely top 3 of the spinach dips I've had in my life. I ordered the steak and stuffed shrimp entree with garlic mashed potatoes. The shrimp was stuff with scallops and crab. I was stuffed after this meal. They have an extensive drink menu with a great espresso martini. Very cool decorations keeps your eyes busy. I highly recommend to come here while in Newport! Great service. Friendly welcoming waitress.

This was a great experience from beginning to end. We were on our way to another restaurant where we had reservations for lunch, but decided to visit more of a Newport staple with some history. I'm glad that we did! We were seated immediately, and the place seemed pretty busy for a Monday afternoon. Julia was our server and she was delightful. All of the food that we ordered was fresh and delicious... I loved my New England clam chowder.. and the fried cod sandwich was on point. You receive nice size portions.. but the star of the show was probably my husband's "stuffie"... I believe it was stuffed clams...with a bit of a kick. A winner. It was a great choice to wash my food down with a couple of glasses of rose sangria. Perfectly balanced and didn't lose its taste from the ice as time went on. Love the cool decor from back in time... that is the other star of the show, especially on the way to the bathroom upstairs. We left stuffed and happy!

Such a cool atmosphere inside with retro 50's-70's signs & decor. The staff was very attentive. We were told this is one if not the top place to grab a bite to eat and it did not disappoint. The bbq burger was cooked perfectly and loaded with toppings. Definitely worth checking out'

Brick Alley Pub is located right on Thames Street and therefore in the middle of touristy Newport. Parking is either street metered or paid parking lots. Inside it's decorated with a lot of nostalgia lending it to having a great and fun atmosphere and consists of several rooms where you can be seated. I noticed a full size salad bar in my dining room It was lunch time and I ordered a bowl of clam chowder ($11) to start to be followed by the New England Cod sandwich with fries ($16). The clam chowder was excellent (5). Great rich flavor. Get it and it won't disappoint! The sandwich was on a soft bun and the fish was fluffy and light tasting. It didn't taste like it was heavily fried and I enjoyed it (4). The fries here are the thick steak fry type (3). My waitress (Julia) was very friendly and responsive. I like this restaurant and would have returned if staying longer. Brick Alley is a very good place to eat in a neat atmosphere.

Amazing food! Must visit when nearby Newport. I had Portuguese littleneck-the soup was delicious; deep flavor with spices and scent of parsley stuffed sole- sole fillet was tender and the stuffing was flavorful, juicy and tasty. Broccoli as a side dish was a great choice. Kelly helped us with food recommendation- she was super friendly :) overall, great experience

This place was by far my favorite! You could literally smell how clean it was before walking in the door. It was busy so we had a 20 minute wait before being seated. They ask for your mobile number so that they can text you whenever your table is ready. The restaurant itself is very interesting with lots of things to look at. It's laid back and welcoming. Our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout our time there. I ordered a berry lemonade to drink and it was very good. You could barely taste the alcohol and it was very easy to drink quickly. For my entree I ordered the steak medallions with Cajun Dijon and it was beyond delicious. One of the best cooked steaks that I've had. Plus the sauce was simply fantastic. For my side I went with the garlic mashed potatoes and they were good as well. I would definitely recommend trying this place if you have the opportunity!
